Violins

This Core Academy Series Violin comes fully adjusted. It is available in 1/32 - 4/4 sizes and as an outfit for an extra $50. Standard outfit includes our brazilwood bow with half-lined ebony frog, 10mm padded cover, Kohr rosin and polishing cloth.

This instruments has good, even tonal quality with plenty of resonance throughout and fine sound projection. It has a glossy, rich reddish-brown finish and is available in 1/32 - 4/4 size.

This violin shows nice attention to detail! It has good projection throughout, the “E” string plays clearly without being overly bright and it has a steady, even medium tone with no complexity. Available in 1/4 - 4/4 size.

This fine violin has heavy antiquing of medium-brown varnish over a golden base. If features a sweet tone, yet with big projection and a good amount of tonal complexity. Available in 1/2 - 4/4 sizes including 7/8.

This violin has a graduated top & back of selected spruce & well-flamed maple. It features good tonal response, pleasant medium tonal range with good sound projection. It is Romanian made with a red-brown antiqued varnish and is available in 1/2-4/4 size.

This one is very sweet, with a warm, rich tone. A slight adjustment to bridge foot overhang yielded a big change in projection of the D and G strings. It is definitely a sensitive instrument. Available in 4/4 only strad or guarneri models.

This strad model is well flamed w/ beautifully antiqued golden-brown finish. It has a warm, clear voice with lots of color and character - speaks very well in every range. 4/4 size only.

This master violin has the very finest antiquing and copies of work of Stradivari, Balastrieri, Ruggieri, Guadagnini and Berg. It has a light flame, medium-high gloss and tastefully antiqued deep brown to golden finish. Available in 1/2 - 4/4 sizes, strad or guarneri model.

This is a very fine master work violin, carefully varnished to imitate an antique instrument. It is a master art violin with choice woods and fittings. The instrument has a sweet, medium-dark tonal quality with nice color and complexity. It is available in both stradivari and guarneri models.
